Description:
ddshapes 1.0 for AutoCAD 14
Dialog driven steel shape generator. Supports w-beams, s-beams, c-channels, m-channels, angles, tubes & pipe. All dimensions derived from Manual of Steel Construction AISC Eight Edition. Fractional units are used instead of Decimal units (because I like all my distances in a layout to add up to a logical conclusion and the steel providers rarely get within 1/8\" of stated dimensions anyway). FREEWARE

I downloaded the files, but AutoCAD 2005 will not accept it. Is there any way to upgrade the ddshapes file. I have been using the ddshapes for about 7 years with modeling 3Dpiping projects. This is an excellent tool to use for modeling structural steel into my piping models. --David

The W12X53 end view has the wrong depth. --Bob

I've been looking for a FREE progam like this for a long time! This is perfect. Thanks! --Greg

The W beams are not drawen to standard steel handbook guide lines. Beware!!!! I have not checked the rest of the files. It's a good little program but the data files should be redone!!! --Dave

this is a very nice program, i noticed it was missing a few sizes but over all a great little program --andrew

This program is suhweet!! It does the same as another program here that's $149.00!! If only it could do bolts and nuts like the other program.. Still, a MUST HAVE!! --Paul Jordan

Dialog box is well thought out, very easy to use. A real time saver. --Ted Thompson

EXCELLENT, EASY TO USE --CHARLES

Well written routine for 2d steel shapes. Easy to use dialoge box. For 3d - just extrude end view of shape. Well Done! --Don Jacobsen
